Rachel Steele

Rachel graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 and initially went to work in a busy mixed practice int he north east. After two years of working, she fancied a change so went travelling before coming to the midlands to do locum work. Originally coming from West Yorkshire, Rachel decided to settle down with her now husband in Nottinghamshire, so to not be too far away from home. She worked for another practice for 3 years where she started her BSAVA Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, before joining the team as senior vet in May 2021. She completed her certificate later that year. She lives with her husband and their tabby cat, Monty, who is doing a good job at using up some of his nine lives!

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with friends, cross-stitching and going to the gym. She is an avid traveller, and is hoping to tick some more destinations off the bucket list in the coming years.
